A man is due to appear in court next week in connection with robbery offences and multiple thefts from shops in Costessey and Norwich.
James Newton, 32, has been charged with two counts of robbery, on February 27 and March 2, and attempted robbery, also on March 2.
He has also been charged with six shop thefts, between January 17 and March 3, as well as an offence of possession of a bladed article on March 2, criminal damage on March 3 and assault by beating on January 17.
Newton, of Jay Gardens, Norwich, is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday for a plea and trial preparation hearing (PTPH) having previously appeared before city magistrates in March.
