A woman has celebrated a milestone surrounded by family and friends as she turns 100.
Born on February 26, 1924, in Thetford, Kay Gostling was the youngest of four siblings.
She spent part of her young adult life serving her country during WWII, working for the Air Ministry at Great Ashfield and East Wretham camp.
After the war, Ms Gostling found satisfaction in managing a tea room at National Trust's Oxburgh Hall.
She also prepared school meals for a primary school in Northwold, where she lived for many years.
The centenarian's birthday was an intimate affair with close family.
To mark the special occasion, she received a card from King Charles and the Queen Consort, Camilla.
She also received a birthday cake, prepared by Baker 39.
Despite enduring health challenges like shingles recently, Ms Gostling remains resilient, continuing to live independently, cooking and baking for herself happily.
Her daughter-in-law Lena Gostling said: "She's really made of strong stuff and is an inspiration to us all.
"Happy Birthday to a remarkable and very special lady."
