Two men who barricaded themselves inside a house in Cromer have appeared in court.
A large number of police officers were called to a property in Warren Court at about midday on Saturday following reports that two men were threatening to harm themselves and others.
Two men were arrested at the scene and later questioned at the Great Yarmouth Police Station where they were charged with a number of offences.
Alex Peters, 27, of Harbour Way in Blakeney, was charged with burglary.
Andrew Moss, 34, of London Road in Peterborough, was charged with burglary, affray, attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, threatening behaviour and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
The men appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Monday and have been remanded to custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on March 11.
