A three-year-old dog who hasn't had the best start in life is still looking for his forever home after spending 600 days at a rescue centre.

Despite the best efforts of staff, handsome German Shepherd Lewis Capawldi has been with Dogs Trust Snetterton since April 2022.

Even namesake popstar Lewis Capaldi has previously attempted to help out, re-sharing a post on Instagram.

Now staff are campaigning once again for Lewis to find his forever home.

Kelly Smith, the rehoming manager at Dogs Trust Snetterton, said: “Lewis is such an affectionate boy who loves to follow our team around until they give him a fuss.

“Sadly, he didn’t have the best start to life and has now been waiting for more than 600 days for his forever home.

Eastern Daily Press:

“He is the most fun-loving boy to be around."

Lewis, who needs an adult-only home where he is the only pet, is fully muzzle-trained and will wear his muzzle when out on walks.

His potential adopters would need to meet him multiple times to get to know him and to build a good bond before taking him home.
