Shuttle services will replace buses while a road is closed for more than four weeks.

A project to build a new footpath that starts on February 19 will see Woodbastwick Road in Blofield Heath closed until March 15.

The First Bus number 15 service will be unable to serve the village between 9am and 4.30pm while this is carried out.

Norfolk County Council is instead offering passengers a free "ring and ride" service which can be booked 24 hours in advance.

It will pick people up from the Mill Road and Tamarind bus shelters and take them to The Kings Head in Blofield where they can catch the bus.

The shuttle will be available at either 9.35am or 11.35am to Blofield or 11.33am to 1.33pm to return to Blofield Heath.

People will not be charged for this service but shuttles must be booked a day ahead.
