Flood warnings have been put in place for parts of the Norfolk coast this morning as people are being told to expect high tides.

The Environment Agency has issued warnings for Wells-next-the-Sea and Salthouse as high tides are expected to hit those areas the worst.

Lesser flood alerts have been put in place for a number of areas across Norfolk this morning including Hunstanton coast as well as King's Lynn, West Lynn and The Wash.

There is also an alert for the coastline from Heacham to north of King's Lynn including Snettisham, Ingoldisthorpe, Dersingham and Wolferton.

Flood gates on the Hunstanton coast will be closed which will make access difficult.

The Environment Agency is urging people to take care on beaches, coastal roads and footpaths.
