From breakfast baps to hearty curries, the owner of a new food truck business hopes to keep customers happy with her "proper home cooking."

Corinne Myall has spent the last four months renovating an airstream trailer at her home in Old Buckenham before launching The Tin Kitchen.

But shortly into the project, she was struck with grief after her father died.

"My dad was a businessman and could never sit still, something he passed on to me," she said.

"He was a big inspiration for me launching my own food company and, while it was difficult, his death gave me more drive to carry on."

Mrs Myall learnt how to cook from her mother and later she went on to have a career in food manufacturing, working for Colman's in Norwich.

She added: "My mother and I always loved to cook everything from scratch together.

"Proper home cooking - that is what I hope to offer my customers."

The Tin Kitchen opened for business last week and has set up at Bunns Bank industrial estate near Attleborough, offering something different for people working in the area.

Pulled pork rolls, homemade sausage rolls and even roast potatoes with curry sauce and gravy are some of the options on offer.

Mrs Myall is also open for bookings for events and her calendar is already getting booked up.

While she runs the business herself at the moment, her two young boys Jack (9) and George (5) are already being trained.

"My boys are too young to help right now but I'll be getting them involved soon. Jack is a maths whiz so he can handle the money side of things soon enough.

"For now, they like to come along to events and support me and my husband tows the trailer."

Tin Kitchen is open for business at Bunns Bank between 9am and 2pm Wednesday to Friday.
