Vintage buses from as far back as the 1930s are set to return for an event centred around Dereham railway station.
The 19th century mid-Norfolk Railway, one of the longest preserved in the UK, will also be put into action operating its 1950s diesel trains from Wymondham to Dereham and onward to Hoe - a section of the line only open for special events.
Buses are free from Dereham Station to the historic County School Station, which lies about a mile from North Elmham. The station building has been maintained to look as it did during the Second World War and will be open to the public.
The Yaxham Light Railway will also open and railway enthusiasts can drive a diesel locomotive for £5.
Unlimited train tickets for the day are available from £11 and family tickets can be bought for £22, with free bus services operating throughout the area.
The Vintage Bus and Coach Day takes place on May 13.
