The 14 volunteers from Norwich and Wroxham flung themselves from a plane at 13,000 feet at Ellough airfield near Beccles on Saturday. Mark Whitworth, from Thorpe St Andrew, one of three skydivers who has Parkinson’s said: “The dive was absolutely fantastic.
“It was the best feeling I have had. Free falling was phenomenal.
“I can’t explain how I felt – it was absolutely amazing.”
The 41-year-old, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s three years ago, has formed a support group called Parkinson’s Ride for people with the disease. It meets in the Griffin pub on Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St Andrew.
