Police have appealed for witnesses after a four vehicle crash which closed a Norfolk road for more than an hour.

Officers at Norfolk Constabulary are investigating the crash on the A140 at Hevingham,

The crash happened on the Cromer Road at about 8pm on Wednesday and involved a grey Toyota Avensis, a blue Vauxhall Vectra, a Vauxhall Combi Van and a red Rover 25.

The crash, in which the man driving the Vauxhall van suffered minor injuries, took place outside the Norwich Caravans store.

The road was closed until around 9.30pm, while emergency services attended the crash.

A number of people are believed to have stopped at the scene before emergency services arrived and officers asked those drivers to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact PC Mike Stolworthy on 101.
