Part of the A47 has been reopened following a two car crash at Dereham which had caused delays earlier this afternoon.

Police, fire and the ambulance service were called at around 3.30pm to the accident near Etling Green.A Jaguar and a Nissan were involved in the crash but there were no life threatening injuries.

Two people were treated by the ambulance service but neither went to hospital.

The Norwich-bound carriageway was blocked and there was a police-block at Norwich Road stopping traffic going on to the A47, and at Tesco vehicles are being diverted through Dereham.

However the road has since reopened.
