Passengers are being warned to expect train delays as a result of signalling problems on the line between Norwich and Cambridge.

Train services were delayed by up to 30 minutes today as a result of the fault, which resulted in the 11.40am service from Norwich and the 1.12pm service from Cambridge being cancelled.

A spokesman for Greater Anglia said a team from Network Rail has since fixed the fault in the Thetford area.

“Train services running to and from these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be delayed at short notice. Disruption is expected until 2pm. Abellio Greater Anglia thank you for your patience and understanding during this problem.”
