Work begins on Monday, March 3 to resurface a section of Stonecutters Way, Great Yarmouth.
The site extends from the junction with Hall Quay for approximately 40m and will include the section adjacent to the Duke’s Head public house. The work will take two days to complete.
During the £31,000 works the junction of Stonecutters Way and Hall Quay will be closed. Fully signed local diversions via Howard Street North, The Conge and B1141 North Quay, or Hall Quay, Regent Street and Howard Street South, will be in place for the duration.
Access to properties and businesses within the works will be maintained from the junction with Howard Street South, although it is inevitable there will be some disruption. The County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
At the same time, work begins on the same Monday to resurface the car park adjacent to the Town Hall in Great Yarmouth. The work will take two days to complete.
The car park will be closed for the duration of the works which will cost £7,000.
