There will be no closure of the B1150 North Walsham Road in Norwich tonight after Northern Distributor Road works were completed.

Surfacing and white lining works at the junction with Crostwick Lane were finished during last night’s closure.

The Crostwick Lane junction with North Walsham Road has been altered after the permanent closure of Rackheath Lane opposite.

The final stages of the work includes gating a private agricultural access route.

A post and rail fence will be installed across the closed end of Rackheath Lane, with bollards to prevent vehicles using the pedestrian and cycle access.

The 30mph temporary speed limit on the B1150 through the site will be removed once work close to the carriageway has finished.
