Commuters travelling into the city this morning faced delays following a three car crash on Norwich’s ring road.

It happened at around 9am this morning westbound on Chartwell Road, between Sprowston Road and Constitution Hill, close to the Brickmakers pub.

Emergency services attended to the accident, including appliances from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service from Sprowston and Carrow.

An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service assisted and one person was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with minor injuries and back pain.
