Train travellers from Norwich and Thetford have been warned there is no service on the Nottingham and Liverpool route following a fire at Nottingham station.
Fire crews were called to the blaze at the concourse of and walkways of the Midlands station at 6.30am today (Friday, January 12).
The fire later spread to the roof void and around 60 firefighters are tackling 'arduous' conditions using specialist equipment.
The East Midlands trains service from Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street stops at Nottingham on the journey, and commuters have been warned to expect delays.
The company tweeted: 'Because of trains and train crews being put of place we are unable to run services on some of our local routes for the rest of the day.'
The company's website says there will be no service on the Liverpool-Nottingham-Norwich route for the rest of the day.
