NMG has kicked off a new sporting sponsorship deal with Old Catton Wildcats football team.

The club contacted NMG sales director Paul Hewitt after the car dealership's promotional activity at The Forum in Norwich and the team also plays at the Sprowston Cricket Club ground and knew NMG sponsored the cricket club, having helped it with buying their kit.

Robert Mayes, one of the coaches of Old Catton Wildcats, said: 'The under 10s age group at Old Catton JFC currently runs four teams.

'The Wildcats team plays on a Saturday in the Norfolk Christian Youth League and has made a great start to the season. At under 10s level the current FA rules mean all matches are friendlies, allowing the players to develop their football skills rather than chasing points.

'The boys are improving all the time and have really started to put into practice the pass-and-move football philosophy of the coaches.

'The Wildcats are extremely grateful to NMG for sponsoring their kit.'
