Anglia First Home Improvements has added four more Toyota hybrid vehicles to its fleet.

Brendon Lansdowne, business manager at Dingles Toyota in Norwich, handed over the keys of the four Auris Touring Sports Hybrids to Anglia First Home Improvements. This is an exciting time for the business to be working with a key player in the market place.

Andy Springall, operations director of Anglia First Home Improvements, said: “We recognise the importance of running our business within today’s customer-conscious environment.

“Customers expect more than just quality and cost-effectiveness from us – they also want to know how their purchases affect the environment. That’s why, as well as offering a range of products rated A+ and A in terms of energy-efficiency, we have embarked on a yearly capital purchase of Toyota hybrid cars in a fleet-rotation programme designed to boost our environmental credentials.”

Anglia First now has a fleet of 80 vehicles, which will grow with the opening of a fifth sales branch at Braintree in Essex next month and a sixth serving the Huntingdon area next year.

Sales director Mark Falgate said: “These four new cars join four vehicles we added earlier this year, with a further three cars due later this month. In terms of commercial vehicles, we remain on target to being fully Euro 5 emissions compliant, while maintaining a watchful eye on the new Euro 6 requirements. Our continuing partnership with Dingles Toyota has proven to be a highly-successful venture for Anglia First, both in meeting our customer expectations and in our long-term transport replacement programme.”

Dingles Toyota offers a range of hybrid vehicles from the new Yaris through to the Prius Plug-in, with Toyota’s goal that there will be a hybrid equivalent for every model in the range. Not only do these vehicles offer huge benefits to businesses including lower benefit-in-kind and tax, but they also offer high MPG, so reduced visits to the petrol station.
