Drivers warned of delays as 40m long gas turbine mould is transported through parts of Norfolk

Motorists may experience delays in parts of Norfolk today as an abnormal load is transported through the county.

The gas turbine mould, measuring 4.63m wide, 39.8m long and 5.7m high, will be leaving the Port of King’s Lynn at 9am with a police escort to Palm Paper on Poplar Avenue.

It will travel along local roads before travelling on the A1078, A148, A149, A47 and then local roads to its destination.

Norfolk Constabulary has warned drivers to expect delays on this route.
