An issue with a signalling system has seen trains between London and Norwich severely disrupted.

While the initial problem between London Liverpool Street and Colchester has now been resolved, there are residual delays of up to 15 minutes between London and Shenfield, Colchester, Clacton, Manningtree, Ipswich and Norwich.

Earlier in the evening, passengers were delayed by an hour as services struggled to return to normal.

Greater Anglia has warned disruption may continue until 11pm.

Passengers who have been delayed for more than 30 minutes may be entitled to compensation for some of their fare. Click here.
