Honda retailer Crown Garage in King’s Lynn is holding an open day at the dealership on Saturday to thank its loyal customers.
The Scania Way dealership, which opened in the town nearly three years ago, will also be celebrating another milestone for Crown Garage because this year is the 80th anniversary of the business being established at Soham in Cambridgeshire as a Rover dealership before it took on the Honda franchise.
Andy Driver, general manager of the Lynn dealership in Scania Way, said it was carrying on the tradition started at Soham of celebrating another successful year for the business and thanking its loyal customers for their support.
He hoped 200 to 250 customers would attend the event, which runs from 9am to 5pm, with a host of attractions lined up to keep them entertained including:
A British Touring Car Championship winning Honda Civic – Gordon ‘Flash’ Shedden won the 2015 driver’s title and the Honda Yuasa Racing Team was again crowned champion manufacturer.
A Honda World Superbike.
Honda’s Mean Mower – world’s fastest lawnmower clocked at 116mph.
Selection of motorcycles, quad bikes and power equipment.
Range of Honda cars including the new Civic Type R.
Golf simulator for guests to try to hit a hole in one.
Mr Driver said that by bringing the Honda cars franchise back to the town Crown Garage had filled a gap in the market and he was pleased that it had hit its targets each year.
The two Crown Garage Honda dealerships sell more than 1,000 cars year.
“We give the service that people expect from a family business which is that personal touch. We are very aware we have to give good service to prosper,” he explained.
“With the current range of Honda cars and competitive finance options there has never been a better time to visit Crown Garage.”
