Broken down train causes rail delays in Norfolk

23:29 23 November 2012

A broken down train is causing disruption between Norwich and Diss.

Travellers have tonight been facing delays of up to 30 minutes between the two stations after the train broke down on the London-bound line.

Bosses at Greater Anglia say they expect the delays to last until about 12.30am.

The 10.30pm London Liverpool Street to Norwich train was cancelled as a result.

  • Greater Anglia - a foreign owned joke! I watch the Great European Railway Journeys on TV and see a modern European network with decent rolling stock and traction. Makes the UK look like the poor relation.
