The air ambulance was today called to Reedham to help a woman in her 50s who had suffered a “serious medical event.”

East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Anglia One was sent to the aid of the woman just after 3.30pm and landed in a nearby field.

Captain Neil Waller flew the team to Reedham, and Dr Harris Begovic and critical care paramedics Carl Smith and Ben Caine treated the patient on scene, alongside their East of England Ambulance Service colleagues.

The air ambulance team escorted the woman to the James Paget University Hospital, in Gorleston, in a land ambulance.

An East Anglian Air Ambulance spokesman has described the woman’s condition as “stable.”
