Wisbech ATC before the Annual ATC Sunday Parade at February on February 6

The 272 Wisbech Squadron were presented with a cheque for £200 by the Wisbech Branch of the Masonic Lodge to help buy camping and fieldcraft equipment.

Cadet Josh Garner, 14, said: “I would like to thank the branch for their generous donation. I can’t wait to go camping with the new equipment.”

The cadets then joined the February 6 parade in March which celebrated the 70th anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps.

A flypast by a Grob Tutor was timed with the inspection of the cadets who marched to St Peter’s Church in March to renew their cadet promise.

Corporal Beccy Best, said: “This was the best ATC Sunday that I have been on - the only downside was it was very windy.”
