The annual general meeting of the Norwich branch of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is being held ahead of its next monthly talk.
The AGM will be held from 7.30pm at Hellesdon Community Centre, in Middletons Lane, on Monday, July 9.
It will be followed by a talk from Julia Burton about the bears, bison, butterflies, beavers and bald eagles of North America.
The talk will cost £1.50 to attend for members and £2.50 for non-members. For further information, go to www.rspb.org.uk/groups/norwich/events
Clematis armandii is a great favourite of mine but, it has its drawbacks. First of all, it is not the hardiest member of its tribe, and being evergreen, once its foliage becomes frost damaged this becomes a permanent feature.
