Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust’s (HEART) Digital Heritage Project and the East Anglian Film Archive are screening Christmas Past, a compilation archive film spanning 30 years of Christmas home movies showing how the festive season has been celebrated in East Anglia from the 1930s to the 1960s.

Filmed in colour and in black and white, the selection of real life Christmas stories drawn from family collections preserved at the UEA’s East Anglian Film Archive includes films of decorated trees, turkey dinners, paper hats, party games, crackers and presents enjoyed by families from all over Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

The film is being screened from 10am to 5pm daily, apart from on Sundays.
