It’s official – Jaguar owners are happiest according to JD Power survey and Norwich dealership HA Fox Jaguar is celebrating playing its part in that success.
Jaguar was announced as the number one manufacturer in the JD Power and Associates/What Car? 2012 UK vehicle ownership satisfaction study (VOSS) which is the ultimate survey of what real buyers think about their own cars.
Mark Lawrence, general manager at HA Fox Jaguar Norwich in Cromer Road, said: “This is fantastic news for the team here at HA Fox Jaguar. The What Car? study is a true barometer for the industry in understanding what our customers want and expect from the brand. From the quality and standard of the cars to the experience that every customer receives at their local Jaguar dealership.
“We’re delighted that Jaguar came top for dealer service, a testament to our hard work and commitment to deliver the best customer experience here at HA Fox Jaguar Norwich.”
More than 300 million miles were driven by 18,000 owners drove to judge 27 different manufacturers and models on performance, design and comfort, quality, reliability, cost of ownership, economy and dealer service.
Jaguar came out a clear winner, jumping from third to first place on last year, beating other manufacturers on vehicle quality, reliability and appeal, and satisfaction with the service they get from their local dealership.
The largest ranking in the study at just under a third of the scoring goes on vehicle appeal and Jaguar also took top slot in this category, with the desirability of the Jaguar XF earning the highest score of any car model in the study.
Jeremy Hicks, director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, said: “To be awarded the number one spot by JD Power is a huge honour – not only for the staff of the 90 Jaguar dealers in the UK but for the circa 2,000 employees at the Castle Bromwich factory and the talented designers and engineers based in Warwickshire whose determination, attention to detail and commitment to quality have delivered this result.”
The study was based on the evaluations of car-owners after an average of two years of ownership and this year saw greater emphasis on measuring the cost of ownership and the service owners receive from their local dealership.
