Aldi recruiting over 50 positions at Norwich stores

Aldi is in “immediate need for a significant number of store staff” and is looking to recruit over 50 positions for its various Norwich outlets.
The supermarket chain is in desperate need of 40 store assistants and 10 deputy store managers for its stores on Larkman Lane, Plumstead Road and Sprowston Road, as well as its new stores on Drayton Road and Hall Road, which will open later this year.
Graham Hetherington, Aldi’s regional managing director, said: “Aldi’s Norwich stores continue to grow in popularity, and because of this we have an immediate need for a significant number of store staff.
“We are looking to attract applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds who can demonstrate relevant experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.”
All Aldi employees in the UK currently receive a minimum rate of £8.53 per hour regardless of their age, rising to £10.15 per hour for store assistants.
Deputy store manager roles start at of £9.53 per hour, rising to £11.15 per hour, plus £4.00 extra per hour if they’re asked to manage the store in the absence of the manager and assistant store manager.
