MUSEUM 4 WATTON

Museum 4 Watton will be opening its doors as part of Silver Sunday - an annual day of fun and free activities for older people.

On Sunday, October 7, the museum in Wayland Hall, Middle Street, will be offering free tea, coffee and biscuits in the council chamber with volunteers on hand to guide and help visitors.

Whilst it is usually not possible for wheelchair users to access the museum due to problems with Listed Building permission, Watton Town Council has agreed to allow access for the day via the disabled entrance and their offices.

Trustee John Greenbrook said he was pleased the trustees are to be able to share the museum with a wider audience, with inaccessible areas of the museum to be covered by a video presentation.

Anyone who uses a wheelchair will need to contact the museum in advance by calling 01953-797060 or emailing info@museum4watton.org.uk.
