On a hot and stuffy night the sultry and sassy Dance 'Til Dawn hot-stepped and foxtrotted it's way into Norwich's Theatre Royal.
With Strictly Come Dancing's Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace leading the cast you would expect the dancing to be simply sensational, and it certainly did not disappoint.
The multi-award winning dance professionals mastered the stage as if they owned every single inch of it.
This was a sexy, sassy production from the producer of Midnight Tango, Adam Spiegel.
But while the dancing was sublime it really was only part of the story.
For while it was a dance show it was also a thriller, a comedy and a musical rolled into one.
Set in 1940s LA, the story centered on the romance which unfolds between a beautiful starlet Sadie Strauss (Cacace) and her handsome lover Tony Deluca (Simone) who showed flawless footwork throughout.
The Latin lovers lifted the temperature to almost boiling point with their terrific tango.
But there was another diamond duo in this show, Private Investigator Tommy Dubrowski (Teddy Kempner) and the sultry Lana Clemenza (Abbie Osmon).
Kempner was brilliant as the bumbling Dubrowski, responsible for majority of the laugh out loud moments while Osman, his seductive comedy sidekick, demonstrated an impressive vocal range as the smouldering Lana.
Oliver Darley (The Voice) was also impressive as the vocalist in a production which included a number of hits old and new.
This was a scintillating show with slick choreography and impressive set changes, but most importantly it did not take itself too seriously.
Dance 'Til Dawn runs at Norwich Theatre Royal until Saturday.
