A farce featuring Paston Sixth Form students will be performed from this weekend as the Sheringham Little Theatre summer rep season continues.

Caught in the Net will run from Saturday August 9 to Thursday August 21 at 8pm (no Sunday performance). There will be 2.30pm matinées on Tuesday August 12 and Saturday August 16.

The play, written by Ray Cooney and directed by Simon Thomas, features the biggest cast of the rep season and stars two young drama students from Paston Sixth Form College in North Walsham - Megan Bailes and Joshua Duckmanton.

Theatre director Debbie Thompson said: 'Tickets to our summer farces always vanish quickly, so we've made sure to pack as many performances in this year as possible.

'The moment we read the script we were in stitches, and we can't wait to share this brilliant story with our audiences.'

Caught in the Net is a sequel to Run for Your Wife but it can be enjoyed by audiences who have not seen the first play.

Bigamist John Smith is still striving to keep his two wives in ignorance of each other. His children from the different marriages – Gavin, in Streatham, and Vicki, in Wimbledon – meet via the internet and arrange to meet at Vicki's home. John is thrown into panic and disarray as the situation descends into the best of British farce.

Tickets cost £10.50 for under 18s, £13.50 for matinées, £15.50 for Monday to Thursday shows and £16.50 for Friday and Saturday shows. Call 01263 822347 or visit www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com
