Robert Wright is up on his feet enjoying Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

Jools Holland with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra provided a fantastic evening’s entertainment for the Bury St Edmunds Festival in the wonderful woodland setting of Nowton Park. It was a full-on two-hour slot and if you thought your picnic blanket would come it handy, forget it. You will be up there jigging along with the rest of the crowd in this perfect summer evening’s bash.

Joining him were the astounding Marc Almond, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall. The amazing Gilson Lavis - Jools’ old pal from his Squeeze days - played those drums in a way which simply blows your mind.

Jools is all-inclusive and ensured every member of his orchestra and singers were given an individual slot, thus recognising their importance. His sheer professionalism is simply awesome.

This is a show that will be reverberating with you long after the final number.
