Trucks galore will be entertaining the crowds at the Norfolk Showground this weekend at the two-day Truckfest East extravaganza.
Over Saturday and Sunday organisers are expecting more than 20,000 people to head to the event which will feature more than 300 trucks and an array of celebrity special guests including stars from the reality television show Love Island and the programme Ice Road Truckers.
Nichola Clarke, from Truckfest, said they were pleased to be returning to the Norfolk Showground for the second year in a row with an action-packed show.
“Truckfest is even bigger than last year with more trucks and more celebrities,” she said.
“We have the stars of Love Island coming - with Dom and Jess here on Saturday and Tyla, Sam and Georgia here on Sunday - as well as the Ice Road Truckers and Jesse McClure from the show Storage Hunters.”
She added: “We have the Slingshot monster truck in the main arena and Terry Grant will also be doing stunts in the main arena.
“People can also have a ride on a Mac Tools monster truck.
“We have manufacturers here showcasing their new trucks. It is a trade show but there is family fun as well. We have Transformers and Paw Patrol and Star Wars characters for the children.”
Todd Dewey and Lisa Kelly are stars of the television show Ice Road Truckers which features drivers whose work sees them drive in extreme conditions across frozen lakes and rivers in remote areas of Canada and Alaska.
Mr Dewey said they were looking forward to meeting show-goers over the weekend and doing commentary in the main arena.
He said: “Truckfest spells family fun. They have everything here, from Paw Patrol to Terry Grant doing stunts to monster trucks.”
Many of the trucks at Truckfest will also be competing in a number of competition categories, with the awards presented in the main arena on Sunday afternoon.
Truckfest is at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 5.30pm on both days.
Tickets bought on the day cost £17 adults, £8 children, or £45 family ticket.
