Pet Shop Boys collaboration among additions to Latitude Festival line-up

A collaboration between the Pet Shop Boys and choreographer and director Javier De Frutos is the latest of some top dance shows added to the Latitude Festival.
Sadler’s Wells will present an excerpt from the production The Most Incredible Thing on the festival’s Waterfront Stage.
The London dance house will also be presenting Matthew Bourne’s Early Adventures: Spitfire, while there will be a premiere of new dance production Flash Mob before it begins a nationwide tour.
Festival organisers have announced a host of other additions including the film The Bruce Lacey Experience from Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller and co-director Nick Abraham, and a performance from classical violinist Hahn-Bin.
The Literary Arena will be headlined by WordTheatre for the fifth year and will feature stories brought to life by Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens, Bond girl Gemma Arterton, pop performer Diana Vickers, Game of Thrones actor Gethin Anthony, The Awakening’s Lucy Cohu and Emma Rigby from Hollyoaks.
Others in the arena include Deborah Moggach, author of the The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, who will read from her novel In The Dark, and Fast Show comedian Simon Day reading from his comic memoirs.
The Comedy Arena will also welcome Phill Jupitus, Chris Cox and Tony Law, The Faraway Forest will host a talk from Dave Gorman, while BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens is the curate of The Lake Stage.
Latitude 2012 takes place at Henham Park, near Southwold, from July 12-15. This year’s headliners are Bon Iver, Elbow and Paul Weller.
