Performace

-Norwich Playhouse: Darren Shan and Alexander Gordon Smith. An afternoon of conversation between two popular writers of young adult fiction, 4pm, £7.50.

-Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich: Red Bastard, 7.30pm, sold out.

-Norwich Playhouse: Narek Hakhnazaryan and Oxana Shevchenko. Armenian cellist and Kazakh pianist (both 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition prize winners) perform a programme of full-blown Romanticism with a Russian bias. 7pm, £15.

-Norwich Cathedral: Norwich Cathedral Choir by Candlelight. 20th century French choral and organ music by Poulenc and Durufle. Conducted by Ashley Grote, with David Dunnett on organ. 9pm, £6-£12.

-Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens: Bourgeois and Maurice 7th Birthday Party. Hedonistic revelry with toe-tapping piano pop-beats from the UK's sharpest, darkest musical siblings. 10pm, £16.

-Norwich Arts Centre: Live Art Club. Made in China - Tonight I'm Gonna Be The New Me. Work-in-progress show about a dancer and how we define ourselves, 10.30pm, pay what you can.

-Hunt and Darton Cafe. Fully functioning café that blends art with the everyday. 10.30pm, pay what you can.

Mat Riviere. Electroncia, 11.30pm, pay what you can.

Exhibitions

-The Gallery at NUA, St George's Street, Norwich: Within. Film work by Tim Davies using the human body to explore aspects of architecture, noon-5pm, free. To May 24.
