Archant Norfolk 2018

While most of the GoGoHares will be hopping into Norwich and Norfolk on Sunday, one early arrival enjoyed a sunny trip out on the Broads before taking up his trail place.

Sydney Long Ears yesterday arrived in style at Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Broads Wildlife Centre at Ranworth where he will be based throughout the summer-long GoGoHares trails which are being organised by Break and Wild in Art.

Sydney Long Ears - who has been designed by Beverley Gene Coraldean and sponsored by Norfolk Wildlife Trust and Swallowtail Print Ltd - is one of 18 moongazer hare sculptures that will decorate the county. He has been named in memory of Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s founder and painted with a map of the Bure Valley.

Alongside the county GoGoHares trail, there will also be a Norwich trail of 50 hares and all 68 sculptures will be in place by Sunday morning.

More than 160 leveret sculptures will leap into Norwich on July 2. Visit www.gogohares.co.uk
