People in Norwich were left looking to the skies outside The Forum this lunchtime as music was blasted out across the city.
It was the sounds of The Beatles coming from the top of The Forum to mark the 50th anniversary of when the Fab Four came to play their one and only concert in Norwich.
It was Friday, May 17, 1963 when Beatlemania reached Norwich, when the Liverpudlian rock band played the Grovesnor in Prince of Wales Road.
That venue may now be a KFC fast food restaurant - but the memory of that special gig lives on as one of the musical highlights of the city’s music history.
Local band Sounds Imperial were the quartet responsible for covers of several songs by The Beatles bringing some unexpected fun to the city, organised by BBC Radio Norfolk editor David Clayton.
