Bumper weekend of shows at Cromer Pier Pavilion Theatre

A golfing legend, powerful singer, top 1960s music tribute act and West End show will be coming to Cromer Pier next weekend.
The Pavilion Theatre is hosting an Evening with golf star Tony Jacklin on Thursday October 16; Rolling Stones tribute act The Stones on Friday October 17; singer Elkie Brooks on Saturday October 18; and The Simon and Garfunkel Story on Sunday October 19.
All shows start at 7.30pm except The Simon and Garfunkel Story which starts at 7.45pm.
Ryder Cup legend Tony Jacklin, who competed in BBC’s 2013 Strictly Come Dancing television series, will be in conversation about his career on October 16.
The event, hosted by top snooker player Willie Thorne, will include memories, a golf swing master class and comedy moments.
He inspired a generation of golfers including Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Justin Rose.
A very different sound will explode from the Pavilion Theatre the following night when The Rolling Stones tribute band The Stones perform.
They will play hit singles including Satisfaction and Honky Tonk Women to tracks from some of the Rolling Stones best-loved albums.
On October 18 the blues and jazz powerhouse that is Elkie Brooks, one of Britain’s most successful and popular singers, will be performing.
The concert will include hits from her career spanning five decades.
The Simon and Garfunkel Story will make its first appearance at the Pavilion Theatre, direct from London’s West End, on October 19.
It includes award-winning actor Dean Elliott and will tell the story of musical duo Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel who are famous for their harmonies.
Hits including Mrs Robinson, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Homeward Bound will feature in the concert.
Tickets cost £20.50 (£19.50 concessions) for Tony Jacklin; £17.50 (£16 concessions) for The Stones; £23.50 (£22 early bird) for Elkie Brooks; and £18 for The Simon and Garfunkel Story.
