Fans of blues, rhythm and rock music are set to be entertained at a Waterfront music festival.

The third Norwich Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival has set its sights on being bigger and better by expanding its line up to include a greater diversity of music.

'70s Dutch pop-rock band Focus will be headlining with their unique brand of progressive rock.

Fronted by founding member Thijs Van Leer, and best known for their hits 'Hocus Pocus', 'House of The King' and 'Sylvia', the iconic Dutch band are back with their new album.

Other musicians on the list are Aynsley Lister, Little Devils, The Mark Pontin Group, Avit Blues Band and The Luke Doherty Band.

Aynsley Lister in a guitarist who plays blues-based rock with contemporary song lyrics.

The festival goers will see live performances and hear a range of sets that incorporate Blues, Rock and R & B.

The festival, which is organised by Solid Entertainments, hopes to be of great interest to many local people and those visiting Norwich.

John Brown, is a communications man at Solid Entertainments,said: 'It gives people who like music and particularly different types of music a chance to see live acts.

'It's important to keep music high on the agenda, particularly in cities like Norwich. There's some real talent in the line up.'

John added they hope it will be another well received festival.

The festival will be taking place at The Waterfront on February 28.
