Works by Cromer-based Beverley Laura are on show at North Norfolk District Council’s office off Holt Road in the seaside town.

Councillor Maggie Prior, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: “The range of art we are seeing in the council art gallery clearly shows the talent which exists in north Norfolk.

“Beverley Laura’s love of animals is reflected in her artwork and she can create the perfect gift to show the bond between pets and their owners.

“If you are a prospective exhibitor don’t forget you can always come and have a look at the space to help you see if it would work for your own art in the future.”

Ms Laura takes individual painting commissions of animals and produces digital prints of the original painting to create customised merchandise such as greeting cards, postcards, tea towels and coasters.

Ms Laura is a professional artist with an MA in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts. She also paints as Bev Broadhead and can be contacted by email at beverleylauraportraits@gmail.com.

The gallery is open 8.30am-5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am-5pm on Wednesdays and 8.30am-4.30pm on Fridays. The paintings will be on show until January 12.
