Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society will be performing music from the 21st Century at Cromer Parish Church on Saturday, in a concert of choral compositions on the theme of light.

The programme will feature Eternal Light: A Requiem, by Howard Goodall, whose compositions span musicals and choral music, to TV theme songs ranging from Blackadder to The Vicar of Dibley.

Also included will be works by American composer Morten Lauridsen, Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo and Devon-based Graham Keitch.

The choir's musical director David Ballard said the concert would include beautiful music and a line-up of top class soloists.

'This might just be the project I've worked on as a musician that I'm most excited about,' he added.

Tickets £12 (£15 on the door), under 18s free, are available from www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com phone 01263 822347.
