A nursery at Aylsham is getting ready to host its popular Garden Show Weekend in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Woodgate Nursery on the Cawston Road will be giving tips, and showcasing the work of garden designers in a competition to take home an annual trophy - based on visitors’ votes.

The event on Saturday and Sunday is free - but with donations to the charity.

Last year’s event was a resounding success, with more than 3,000 people visiting and raising £648.

A fun day for all the family, budding young gardeners can get up close and personal with birds of prey from The Seal and Bird Rescue Trust, take part in the Nursery Treasure Trail and go home with seed kits ready to start growing their own.
