Archant

In extremely poor taste, inappropriate, offensive, crass, clumsy and potentially dangerous — let me echo the words of Steven Downes in his column condemning the installation of the Antony Gormley sculpture of a lifelike human figure on the roof-edge of the UEA library.

From his past writings on mental health issues, readers will be aware that Steven knows what he’s talking about. So do I.

Unless this provocative figure is removed to a less conspicuous site, UEA and Antony Gormley could easily have blood on their hands.
