One reader isn't convinced that invisible microwaves are entirely safe to be around.
I was interested to read the article regarding a gentleman who believes that his smart meters are causing him to suffer headaches.
MORE: 'My smart meters are giving me headaches': Man calls for investigation into the devicesThe 'experts' insist that the radio wave emissions from these devices are perfectly safe, but I'm not so sure.
Microwaves are actually a stream of energised sub-atomic particles, and they can
pass straight through solid matter, including the human body.
We are all being constantly bombarded by these invisible waves, which are now emitted by a host of devices like wi-fi routers and mobile phones, and I simply don't believe that all this stuff can routinely pass through our bodies with no effect on our health.
What I don't understand is why smart meters need to be constantly transmitting data to the energy supplier, when all they actually need is a monthly consumption figure.
Just because the 'experts' assure us that this technology is safe, does not mean that it is, and we should not be so keen to fill our homes and cars with unnecessary devices which use microwave technology.
