Dog owners are urged to take part in a series of free community walks with their pets in North Walsham and Cromer to help socialise their mutts and meet like-minded people.
Led by professional dog trainer Ann Corcoran, the walks are designed to bring together people in the community who own dogs, and help them understand their pets’ behaviour and body language.
They are organised by social landlord Victory Housing Trust, whose spokesman Jo Todd said: “Pet ownership involves responsibility for the animal itself and for other residents, and we work hard to bring all of these factors into balance – and these walks are part of our efforts to support people to keep pets responsibly and enjoyably.”
North Walsham: Tuesdays, 10am-11am – Feb 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27; meet at Masters Court on Sadlers Way.
Cromer; Thursdays, 10am-11am – March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; meet at Runton Road car park.
