An appeal has been submitted against Breckland Council's refusal of planning permission for 50 homes on a piece of farmland in Mattishall.

But campaigners who have so far successfully fought off development of the land off Dereham Road are appealing for objectors to write to the Planning Inspectorate.

Gladman Developments was refused permission to build the 50 houses on the land in August and a previous appeal against refusal of 90 homes on the site was dismissed last year.

Campaign group Mattishall Matters is urging anyone with objections to the scheme to make written representations.

They can be made online at www.acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk, by email to east1@pins.gsi.gov.uk or by post to Alison Kendall, The Planning Inspectorate, Room 3O, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Bristol, BS1 6PN, by November 23, quoting ref APP/F2605/W/17/3185918.
