Dereham went on an incredible goal spree at Colchester, winning 15-0 to maintain their 100pc Premier Division record and move five points clear at the top of the table.
Top scorer Evie Gardner led the way with a double hat-trick while Donna Vaughn returned from injury and scored four goals in a supreme performance. The game started as though Colchester were going to be competitive but after the first goal went in nearly every shot at goal ended with a score and the floodgates opened.
Hannah Palmer also weighed in with a hat-trick while Holly Allen and Kath Malvern scored one apiece.
Norwich City are still looking for their first Division 1N win of the season after going down 2-1 at Long Sutton. City took the lead when a well practised short corner routine ended with Emma Sawford scoring but in the second half Long Sutton scored from open play to equalise and fired the winner from a short corner with 10 minutes remaining.
Harleston Magpies II won 2-0 at Bourne to improve their position.
Watton are still going strong in Division 2NE, with a 3-2 home win over previously unbeaten Norwich Dragons maintaining their perfect record. They moved into a 2-0 lead before a short corner converted by Marie James reduced the deficit. Watton scored again, only for a great strike from Hannah Hardy to put Dragons back into the game, but despite late pressure they were unable to equalise.
Sprowston slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Nrowich Dragons II. In a hard fought game, Sprowston lost centreback Vicky Hall to a head injury and minutes from full-time Dragons made the most of the gap to grab an unlikely victory.
North Walsham had the chances to comprehensively beat UEA but in the end had to settle for a 1-0 win, with Ellen Vanlint scoring the all- important goal.
Pelicans won 3-2 at Cambridge University II in Division 2NW. They scored first through Rachel Drohan, who added a second before half-time. The second half was tighter but Pelicans clinched the points when Drohan completed her hat-trick.
