Monsoon conditions hit Thetford Forest for the first round of Thetford MTB's Whyte Winter Series bringing an end to an Indian summer of fast riding on dusty tracks.
Elite veteran Gavin Rumbles beat all the under-40s to win the fifth round of the Eastern Cyclo-Cross League at Colchester. Just nine seconds behind was Coltishall rider Michael Raven who was riding his first ever cyclo-cross and consequently started from the back of the grid.
