Swardeston set sights on Rose Bowl

Swardeston will be gunning for a place in the Sky-televised finals of the national Cockspur Club Twenty 20 this Sunday. The Norfolk side reached the regional finals by beating South Woodford and Sully Centurions last weekend - and now Northamptonshire club Oundle stand between Mark Thomas' men and an appearance at Hampshire's Rose Bowl stadium on Thursday, September 23.

Bears aim to halt Knights' charge in final

Bradenham Bears take on Horsford Knights in the final of the Junior Carter Cup at Manor Park on Sunday. The Bears have the player of the tournament in their ranks, with Lewis Denmark having blasted centuries in each of the last two rounds and an unbeaten 87 in the group stages.

Clubs go for Broke again

The Mid Norfolk Sunday League's Broke Cup final between Ashmanhaugh and Mundford was postponed because of rain on Sunday. The match will now be played this Sunday, at Sprowston Cricket Club, starting at 1pm.

Swardeston-Fakenham clash will be vital

At the top, Swardeston kept up the pressure on top two sides Cambridge Granta and Saffron Walden - 42 points covering the three teams - and Fakenham are feeling the relegation pressure as Halstead, the only outfit below them, narrowed the gap to just two points after being involved in only the league's second-ever tie.
