After Saturday's wind and rain the sun shone on the annual East Coast Run at Great Yarmouth yesterday.
With ideal conditions a record numbers of competitors completed the 10km course, with 530 crossing the finishing line.
The winner was RAF runner Steve Robinson who posted a time of 33 minutes 42 seconds. Another airman, RAF Marham's Steve Neill, was second.
The first woman over the line was veteran Julie Heath of St Edmunds Pacers, who recorded a time of 40 minutes 12 seconds.
A new trophy for the first under-20 competitor to finish went to Ipswich's Elliott Palmer, who was fifth overall.
The event was organised by Great Yarmouth Road Runners in conjunction with Great Yarmouth Borough Council.
